I have been working in various forms of wood sculpture for 57 years. I have received numerous awards from prestigious fine art shows around the country. Some of my work has been used by the motion picture industry. I have also created large scale sculpture for public buildings.

For the last 10 years I have been creating one of a kind original bas relief sculpture made from various solid exotic woods and hand formed copper and bronze. Each piece is designed and built solely by me. Pieces are hand cut with a German precision saw, lathe turned and hand formed. I use no form of mass production (e.g., CNC). Upon completion I apply a clear finish to protect and enhance the colors and grain patterns of these beautiful exotic woods. Many of my designs are conceived as I am going to sleep at night - between the states of awake and asleep when my mind is most still. I am inspired by all forms in nature as well as contemporary architecture. The smallest segment of a scene I might see often guides my imagination in a direction that evolves into a finished piece.
